The focus of the workshop was to create a photo book in which children documented places suitable for their age around the school. On tours, accompanied by architects and a city guide the children visited various places and documented them with a camera. Furthermore, the children were introduced to the history of buildings and sites. In the following writing workshop the children wrote their own personal text and supervised by professionals pictures and text were compiled to a book.  Afterwards a model of their neighbourhood was developed.

Throughout the STAP workshop children (and their parents) were brought closer to their neighbourhood. Not only did they gain social, comminicative and methodological skills but also it encouraged the identification with their specific neighbourhood. The experience of the benefit of cooperative learning werde additional goal reached.
